The hotel's location next to a bus terminal is perfect.
Our experience was seriously marred by the room's mold and musty odor. The humidity levels were unbearable, even with the air conditioning on. There was an evident lack of amenities like hair dryers and outlets, making our stay all the more inconvenient.

You have to check out Oishi Komachi Shinsen just around the corner for scrumptious local dishes! The staff at Fukudaya are warm and welcoming, always brightening up your day. The traditional Japanese aesthetic with tatami floors is simply charming.
Our room felt a bit tight—mold showed up in corners and the humidity made it musty, despite the AC. Not many amenities either. good luck finding an outlet in the bathroom!

pleasant stay in a traditional atmosphere
The central location made it easy to explore, with numerous dining options nearby. The staff offered warm welcomes, enhancing our experience. The futon beds in our room were surprisingly comfortable, allowing for restful nights. enjoying tea and water in the lobby created a cozy ambiance that I appreciated.
The shared bathrooms could benefit from more attention during peak times.

Traditional Japanese-style room with tatami floors and comfortable futon beds provided a unique experience. The well-maintained shared bath on the first floor offered a spacious and relaxing environment with toiletries provided.
The absence of hangers for clothes was a hassle alongside limited space to store luggage—one table for two felt cramped. Humidity issues were prominent, making the room feel damp, and the air conditioning struggled to keep up. Shared bathrooms lacked sufficient facilities, like outlets and mirrors, affecting convenience during the stay.

The small alley leading to the inn felt like a hidden gem! My kids loved the tatami room, and the manager was incredibly kind and helpful! A lovely garden added tranquility to our stay.
The shared bathroom could use a bit more attention at busy times.

The experience was unique, as the hotel blended traditional Japanese style with modern comforts. Highlights included the sensational traditional bath and the homemade Belgian waffles, which added a delightful touch to our mornings. The staff were consistently helpful, aiding in navigating local bus routes, though the lack of an in-hotel restaurant is a downside. Location-wise, the proximity to key attractions was a definite advantage.
